Ken Dunn

Ken Dunn moved from New Hampshire to South Carolina in 1983 to start an electrical contracting business that his two sons’ now continue. Late in the year Ken received his builders’ license when shortly after he began putting together a team of professional trades people, and suppliers that would be the base for a custom and speculative home construction business. This continues today as Carolina Custom Home Builders.

Quality is paramount with Ken. He has said many times, it his sub-contractors and suppliers that have contributed to Carolina Custom Home Builders continued successes over the past 25 years. Some of them have been partnered with Ken for well over 10 of those years.

Many of his past clients continue call him, for social activities, and referrals for their friends moving to the area needing a “good builder” they can trust.

Ken has enjoyed many years of active service to the Home Builders Association of Oconee, both as a board member, and President. He has chaired numerous Parade of Homes sponsored by the H.B.A. of Oconee. Ken continues to be respected in the building industry as a leading innovator of new trends, and technologies of the day.

Milton & Fern Chupp

Milton and his wife Fern have been married for 24 years, and have raised 5 wonderful children in the Seneca, Oconee County area. He is an active member of the local Home Builders Association and has developed a reputation in the local area as a dependable and responsible, business person.

Milton started as a teenager in the residential home industry, advancing in skill, and experience for the past 26 years. He accounts the majority of his knowledge to his residential framing company, which frames homes both large and small. Fern is trained and experienced in Interior Design. Her personal touches in décor and warming color palette give each home a unique and recognizable look similar to no builder, but Right Construction. When it comes to mood provoking colors and functional design Right Construction is the perfect fit.

As a residential builder Milton has surrounded himself with people of integrity and great work ethic in every phase of the home construction process. Milton posts his reputation on his attention to detail, that most times go unseen to the Home Owner.

Jim Davis

Jim Davis is a True Craftsman in every sense. Whether it is constructing a home or building a relationship. He is known for spending his days on-site mixed among his Sub-contractors. With his eye on every detail of the build this is how Jim ensures his clients receive the highest quality of construction, for which they were promised.

Jim has been in the building industry since the 1970’s and has been a native to Oconee County for over 18 years. Finding his niche he has spent the last 5 years building Custom and Speculative homes between the $300,000 and $600,000 price range. You can find many of his homes and happy clients in Stillwater Subdivision.

Jim is very excited about Hammock Ridge and hopes to have as much of an impact shaping the image of this subdivision as he has on so many other affluent communities in Seneca.
